Nothing could be further from the truth, in fact it is easy, it does however require some time – in no way can it be considered fast food.

I love Italian dishes and have tried to perfect my lasagna recipe for years. So far this is the best I’ve come up with and enjoy it very well. I’d never used a butter sauce before, but for some reason it seems to add that something special to the results.

Lasagna Sauce:

1 lb hamburger or ground sirloin
1 tsp (more or less to liking) Italian seasoning

There are many slight variations in homemade fresh pasta recipes, this is one of the easiest methods – follow it and you’ll be making fantastic pasta in no time!

Ingredients: (enough for 2 people)

  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Step 1

Place all the ingredients in a large bowl or food processor and mix well, the dough should stick together if you press it with your fingers, the texture should be rather like uncooked rice. One is generally bored of eating spaghetti the regular way. A little change in the ingredients and the style of cooking can change the taste of the dish completely. So now lets try cooking it a different way.

Requirements for the recipe

a) spaghetti- one pound
b) lean ground beef- one pound
c) salt- one fourth tablespoon
d) grounded black pepper- one fourth tablespoon
e)Garlic powder- according to taste
f) green bell pepper(chopped)- one and a half cup
g)pasta sauce- one jar
h)sour cream- three fourth cup
i) chopped green onions – half a cup
j) cream cheese- half a packet

I enjoy Italian food to much. If I’m not cooking and eating Italian food, I’m writing about it. Over the years I have created and recreated some great dishes in ’’My Crazy Kitchen” and through trial and error have developed some pretty good dishes.

Pasta has always been a family favorite. It’s economical, very easy to make and seems to get everybody’s attention. Nothing brings a family together like a great pasta dish.
