What is caloric cycling?
Briefly, caloric cycling or calorie cycling is a method of changing up how many calories you eat every now and then in order to keep your body from plateauing in weight loss. The theory is that if you reduce your caloric intake over a period of time your body will compensate by reducing its metabolic activity and you become stuck on what is called a plateau. Needless to say this is very discouraging. Caloric cycling never lets the body do this because it is always cycling the amount of calories on any given day.
